PRIVACY NOTICE TO CUSTOMERS AND SUPPLIERS
Re: Privacy notice to customers and suppliers provided by Industrie Ceramiche Piemme S.p.A. pursuant to Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679

This notice has been prepared and issued in accordance with Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (also General Data Protection Regulation - GDPR), which has introduced significant regulatory changes.
This notice, therefore, updates and replaces any previous versions released before this time.
Having said this, please note that

1) our company is collecting and processing your personal data during the course of performing the business relationship that we have with you;


2) to be clear, below are the definitions specified in the aforesaid GDPR:

Personal data: any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (‘data subject’); an identifiable natural person is one who can be identified, directly or indirectly, in particular by reference to an identifier such as a name, an identification number, location data, an online identifier or to one or more factors specific to the physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity of that natural person;
Processing: any operation or set of operations which is performed on personal data or sets of personal data, whether or not by automated means, such as the collection, recording, organisation, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, restriction, erasure or destruction.
Therefore, pursuant to Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679
we hereby advise you
that this company collects and processes your personal data in conformity with the following:

a) purposes: we will process your data for the proper performance of accounting, tax, commercial, technical requirements and for all business activities in general related to the existing relationship;


b) advertising: with your specific and explicit consent, we may use your data to send advertising material and/or communications by post, email, telephone, fax, SMS and the like; after expressing your consent, you are entitled to object to the processing of your data for this purpose at any time and without charge


c) modalities: data will be processed in both paper form and/or using electronic and/or computerised and/or telecommunications media and instruments, in full compliance with statutory provisions, in accordance with the principles of lawfulness and correctness and in such a way as to ensure their confidentiality;


d) optional provision: You are not obliged to provide your data, this is optional;


e) what happens if you refuse: if you refuse to provide your data or object in full to their processing, it may not be possible for our company to continue any business relationship or any other relationship with you; however, if you deny the use of your data for sending advertising material and/or communications, this will have no effect at all on present and future relations with us;


f) entities or categories of persons (recipients) to whom personal data may be disclosed: your data may be disclosed to third parties only to fulfil legal or contractual obligations. Your data will not be disseminated under any circumstances;


g) persons authorised to process the data: data will be processed exclusively by the company employees in the administrative and commercial sector with specific authorisation for this;


h) automated decision-making (e.g. profiling): no automated decision-making processes exist at all;


i) rights of the data subject: you have all the rights under the GDPR, including the right to access your personal data, the right to erase them or to restrict their processing, the right to object to the processing of your personal data, in addition to the right to data portability. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Supervisory Authority;


j) transfers to a third country: any transfers of personal data to a third country outside the EU or to an international organisation shall be made on the basis of an adequacy decision by the Commission, or in the case of transfers referred to in Article 46 or 47, or the second subparagraph of Article 49(1) of the GDPR, on the basis of appropriate or suitable safeguards;


k) period of data storage: data will be stored for the period strictly necessary to meet the requirements of the data subject or on the basis of the provisions of current legislation or any contractual clauses;


l) controller: the data controller is Industrie Ceramiche Piemme S.p.A., headquartered in Fiorano Modenese (MO), Via Del Crociale no. 42/44, in the person of its pro tempore legal representative;

This privacy notice may be supplemented, orally or in writing, with additional details and instructions, so we can respond to all your "Privacy" information requests to the best of our ability, and to comply with legislative developments.
